Behind The Name
The name Just Be Designs … was created mainly to aim to inspire and encourage women from all walks of life to recognise that we are enough and beautiful just as we are … hence Just Be .. so take a moment and just breathe .. Just Be You Are Enough
Materials
In my work I use semi-precious stones, glass beads and also sea glass. I love colours and textures. A true realm of beauty and wonder I say.
Sterling Silver
Sterling silver 925, is an alloy composed by weight of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. The majority of the silver I use, including all bullions, metal sheets and wires, is recycled as well as sustainably sourced.
Semi-Precious Gems& Stone
Gemstones have been appreciated for their spiritual powers just as much as for their beauty for centuries. One of my favorite is aquamarine. The serenely light blue colour reminds me of the sea that I love so much and invokes tranquility in me. This stone is considered to be the stone of courage, it is believed to promote letting go of fears and past traumas and help maintain inner balance as well as bring joy, peace and love
Fine Silver & Metal Clay
Fine silver, also called pure silver, or three nines fine, has a millesimal fineness of 999, that’s because fine silver contains 99.9% silver, with a minimal trace of impurities. This high percentage of silver makes it more expensive. Fine silver is beautiful and suffers from minimal tarnish, but it's generally softer and malleable.
